Meet the Dentists
Dr. Eric Ochs
Dr. Ochs grew up in Warren and moved to Clinton Township as a teenager and graduated from Fraser High School. From there he attended Oakland University before being accepted to the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1987. Little did he know when he started at dental school that his future wife, Susan Baker, was also a dental student in the class two years behind him. After meeting her at a school social event the rest is, as they say, history. The product of that meeting includes among other things, life, and business partnerships, two sons and a busy dental practice. When he has some spare time Dr. Ochs will be found tinkering in his garage or up north using a chain saw and puttering on his old John Deere tractor.
Dr. Susan Baker
Dr Baker grew up in St. Clair Shores and graduated from Lakeshore High School. She attended Adrian College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, then went on to the University of Detroit School of Dentistry and graduated in 1989. Dr.’s Baker and Ochs met at dental school and got married in 1990; they reside in Clinton Township. They have two sons, who are now grown. In her spare time, she enjoys working in her garden, biking, and spending time with her family.

Our Hygienists
Our hygienists Michelle O., Ebonie, Anna, and Michelle S. are an important part of Baker & Ochs Family Dentistry. Whether you need just a routine cleaning or a periodontal (deep) cleaning, all four are very capable of making your treatment effective and comfortable. Feel free to ask them questions about oral care products and techniques for keeping your mouth as healthy as possible, and they will give you personalized instructions to best suit your needs.
Our Assistants
Our skilled and friendly assistants are an important part of Baker & Ochs and will help get you through your appointment smoothly. They are highly trained to operate our microprocessor based sterilization equipment and also help the doctors perform dental procedures efficiently.
Front Office Staff
Our friendly front office staff is available to assist you with scheduling appointments to best suit your needs, and can ensure that your health update and insurance information are up to date. They are knowledgeable in dental insurance matters and can answer your questions confidentially.
