At Baker and Ochs Family Dentistry our goal is to provide optimal oral health for all of our patients. Our entire dental team works together to thoroughly and efficiently reach that goal. At cleaning appointments a complete examination of the teeth, gums and entire mouth will be performed along with periodic x-rays to find any disease conditions in the early stages. Early diagnosis allows us to treat those conditions with a better success rate. This is especially important in regards to periodontal (gum) disease. Our hygienists are very skilled and can evaluate and treat your periodontal condition as well as educate you as to how to maintain your oral health.

Technology in use at Baker and Ochs
Dentistry has seen many technological advances recently and our office has implemented many of them. Digital x-rays have been in use for many years at our office with the advantage of better images and significantly reduced radiation exposure to our patients. Another new piece of equipment we use is a digital crown scanner. This replaces impression materials when we are fabricating crowns and bridges. By digitally scanning the teeth for crowns we are able to greatly improve the accuracy of the fit of the crowns made by our labs. Crowns and bridges that fit better are longer lasting.

Dental labs are a critical partner for any dental office, and Baker & Ochs has long standing relationships with all of our labs. All of the labs we work with are high quality and are located in Macomb County, we never will work with out of state or out of country labs. Our local labs only use the highest quality materials to ensure optimal results for our crowns, bridges and dentures.
